So you’ve got a few manual wind watches, and you’re looking for a very distinctive watch winder to put them in. Well, Bugatti and Origin Times has the solution for you. Fair warning though, it’s going to cost you.

The Bugatti Veyron has a 16 cylinder power plant, and now your watches can have one too. The Origin Time “Big Block” winder probably has more tech in it then most cars, allowing you to select the duration, direction, and even specific cylinders that you have your watches in. Of course, it’s a little ostentatious, but also vaguely cool. I’m conflicted.

    The Ferrofluids Concept Watch

    Ferrowatch from zaouaikarim on Vimeo.

The Montre Ferrofluide is a concept watch that uses ferrofluids – a suspension of magnetic particles in liquid – to create the watch face. When not activated, the face is just a pool of liquid… but then the magic happens.

Don’t expect this to pop up at your local Macy’s jewelry counter. While feasible, I suspect the energy required may be a bit high.
