The choice for an "always right" (solar-powered, atomic time synchronized) dress watch has, up to now, been somewhat limited. Apart from the Japan-only Seiko Brightz, the only watches in this space have been from Casio (and their Oceanus brand). But now Citizen has entered the stage with the Chrono-Time AT -- the first watch using the new Citizen H610 caliber.
In addition to the other timepieces Luminox recently provided us, we also got a sneak preview at the unreleased 6402 "Blackout" seen here. Based on the previous F-117 Nighthawk 6402, the Blackout goes stealth with black-on-black dial, hands, and matching PVD case and bracelet. The only color on the face is the tritium tubes and Luminox logo.
Today's review is one of the most unusual watches you'll see. Designed in Ohio, it has a vintage Russian mechanical movement, superlative multilayer lume, and a two-tone case with aviation-style dial. Say hello to the Lum-Tec C1.
